Well we went through the shoot and it went well. I meet alot of great and talented people, and learned a bunch. The short film is called The Heart of New Orleans, it will be on the web in about 3 weeks and I will post the link so people can vote.

Above is the movie poster I did for the movie...I like the final ....it serves its purpose with the tools I had...The movie is about two texas emts that drive to Louisiana to help after katrina...

Day job is going well, keeping busy and soon will learn some new stuff.

Today I felt a bit sad....its that feeling you have when you say to yourself, tomorrow is gone....

I dunno, I speak out my ass alot, who knows what I am saying....sometimes it just feels like no one cares....sometimes I am not sure I care....

Oh well....I need a drink

O man, I feel like crap...total crap, can't sleep and eaten by emotions....I have alot going on and I am extremely busy with Work and with the short film I am working on with some people.....the story boards are pretty much done, I may put a couple up soon, but that is the least of my concerns right now....even though we shoot in 5 days.

My eyes are red and mildewed.....I think everyone should have their moments but when the ice melts its the worst feeling in the world, especially when you yourself cant control it or explain it....

Maybe imma stupid guy, maybe they were all right, maybe I'm fucked, maybe I am not.....But I just don't know how to feel anymore, I guess I just feel sad.

What if you knew something, and no one else knew it....just you, How many times would you try and convince people....when do you say I know what I know, but it makes no difference....

I just know there is one place I don't wanna go back to.....if I go back to THAT place....i dunno....that just isn't me.....that was me 5 years ago

So it has been forever since I have been on here, Alot has happened, I have been busy. The new job is pretty good. They are super cool and I just got my office, I need a desk now though. The job is good I feel more involved here and I am learning more about the film business. As for side projects I am working on some images for a book. It may or may not work but above is an example of a sketch I did for it, real quick.

Also I am about to storyboard my second short film and I am Associate Producer on this one as well. It will be alot of work, but if we when the film contest in Nashville, it would be worth it, because then we would get a bigger budget for our next project....could lead to big things

Me and Faith are in a very good place right now, I like where things are at and where we are going.

All in all things are pretty good, I am working out to be healthier and my pateince is wearing thin, but I need to do this and it is working, it just takes time

okay that is it for now, I promise to write in this more often

So yeah, with the new year and the writers strike along with some internal problems I got laid off two days...Not the best way to start the new year. But I am trying to stay positive because my every instinct tell me to either be depressed or pissed. I had it made with that fucking job....But hey what are you gonna do...

so 2 years ago I thought of this funny looking squirrel character that loved nuts. I know I know we have all seen Ice Age and fuck you it is not a rip..but just me having fun. I am trying to get better at doing women. drawing women has always been a problem for me. I hope by doing these and using magazines and Franzetta as models I can improve on my own style of drawing women down the line.....This is just a start really I have some ways to go...

You ever feel sometime that well things just aren't going your way...Or maybe think that you are a bad person but you don't know why? Or perhaps you let people down but can't explain? It is like something is creeping trying to transform you into something that you don't wanna be...You know like something bad happen at work and you take it out on someone who doesn't deserve it. well not only did my girlfriend get me a wacom but she also got me the heroes dvd that I have been watching pretty much nonstop...I kinda missed the boat when the series started and I got sick of people telling me i would love the series and that they could not believe I was not watching it. Anyway they were right and the show rocks....

My computer froze up on me while doing this one and I was thinking a crisper look for this but after I lost my first go at this I just decided to get messy...I like it...not all bad i guess...

you know this wacom is really fun I can color with it very gesturally...which is the way I like to draw...I still have some problems with the final saving steps with the channels...
I tried something different this time to keep my own dark colors...I like it alot....

Some times you just can't be scared right...just go and try it...what is the worst that can happen????

so my girlfriend got me a wacom pad for our anniversary and I have been practicing a little. I know I have a long way to go which seems to be the theme to this blog. I was originally drawing a spider-man but it turned into a deadpool....For some reason the blacks go real faded. imma have to see what is up with that.

I didn't really know what I wanted to draw today, I crumpled alot of pages but then I just went and drew whatever with out thinking. It ended up being a Loki like kid with a horn hat....I dunno...I think it shows I still need alot of practice.

so it has been a very long time since I have had any type of journal. But this is different. I am using this to force me to draw more. Something I have really lacked in the past few years so bare with me.
